Our breeding in Ile-de-France
We've created a veritable living laboratory with our herd, which will expand in 2025 with the arrival of new rams from Europe and elsewhere. These sheep, with their exceptionally fine wool (up to 16 microns!), are a key asset for competing with global standards.
We take care of our herd ourselves and understand the profession of breeder, the health risks such as bluetongue, and the climatic hazards such as lack of rain and too much rain.
Starting in April 2025, this herd will occupy a 7-hectare plot on the Saclay Plateau, made available by EPAPS (Public Establishment for the Development of the Saclay Plateau). This herd will help prevent the closure of the landscape. This installation is carried out under the supervision of the Confluences Consulting Office for Planning and Ecosystems.
